Abstract

Patient satisfaction is an essential indicator of healthcare quality and a key determinant of clinical outcomes, patient retention, and institutional reputation. Traditionally centered on clinical success, modern healthcare recognizes satisfaction as a multidimensional construct influenced by medical treatment, communication skills, and healthcare infrastructure. This article explores these three domains, highlights their interdependence, and discusses the role of patient satisfaction scores as a measurable quality indicator. Practical strategies and real-world examples are provided to enhance patient-centered care.
